You will serve as a SECURITY ASSISTANT in the United States Marine Corps of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.

Duties
You will review all business pass/CAC (Common Access Card) applications for
authentication, and determines the type of pass that must be issued.
You will maintain the statistical database for all applications and insures proper implementation into CLEOC
(Consolidated Law Enforcement Operations Center).
You will coordinate background checks utilizing NCIC (National Crime Information Center) and enforces strict compliance with privacy and confidentiality of the personal and private information obtained.
You will develop, maintain and enforce procedures for the use and maintenance of all records concerning contractors and vendors working on board the Base.
You will submit the NCIC background checks for each applicant.
You will coordinate and ensures data integrity and accuracy (quality assurance) of systems records.
You will assist the Military Police Records Supervisor in answering telephone calls with questions and inquiries regarding Police Records Section, and Weapon Registration Section.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: Coordinating background checks and obtaining fingerprints from applicants; 2) Reviewing all business pass/CAC applications for authentication and determines the type of pass that must be issued; and 3) Developing, maintaining and enforcing procedures for the use and maintenance of all records.
