You will serve as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist in the Integration and Development Dept (N9), Configuration Management Division (ISCN92); Duty Station: Suitland, MD of HOPPER GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS CENTER.

Duties
You will Serves as Division Head with full supervisory responsibilities for civilian and military personnel.
Manages division resources to include programming and execution of an annual budget.
Leads and manages the Hopper Information Services Center’s Configuration Management Team core services include; License Management, Remedy Ticket, CMR, DADMS/DIPR-DON application verification tasks, for NAVINTEL Information Technology (IT) systems
Actively collects and maintains all Configuration Management statistics for reporting purposes.
Sets priorities, goals, and deadlines for divisional work and forms final determinations on how to plan and accomplish work.
Oversees GOTS and COTS software evaluations and/or analysis.
Performs the full range of technical and administrative supervision, including setting employee objectives and goals, appropriately evaluating and rewarding performance, assessing and providing for training needs, and handling grievances
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This position may require a 2-Year DCIPS trial period.
Qualifications
You must have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1. Perform technical, administrative and management tasks that involves planning, directing, assigning, leading, and monitoring the work of a unit; 2.Manages division resources to include programming and execution of an annual budget; 3.Directs day-to-day operations of a Configuration Management (CM) program and establishes CM processes, which are intended to address configuration identification, configuration change control, status accounting, audits, baseline management, and record keeping; 4. Oversees GOTS and COTS software evaluations and/or analysis.
