Duties
You will develop and execute community outreach programs to support the Navy Recruiting Commands (NRC) mission goals to include scheduling Navy Senior Leaders and Navy assets at events.
You will provide recommendations to Commanding Officer and Public Affairs Officer that can significantly modify key public affairs programs in the conduct of high-level community outreach.
You will research, identify, and recommend locations, venues and events that are ideally suited for outreach by Navy assets.
You will ensure all events are supported with the proper resources, monitor marketing support programs and ensure all program support under your responsibility is accomplished.
You will Implement and manage the Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Educator Orientation Visit (EOV) bringing professionals from a variety of professions to fleet concentration areas to experience the Navy firsthand.
You will provide direction to recruiting divisions, recruiting stations, and recruiters in developing and executing community outreach activities to support the total program effort, emphasizing measurable results.
You will facilitate media and social media coverage by pitching existing Navy content produced and or endorsed content (e.g., photos, video, radio, opinion columns, multimedia products).
You will develop consolidated funds or program budget(s), and reviews and drafts statements for justifying funding requests.
You will provide written reports to all levels of the command for each community outreach engagement accomplished, with recommendations, supporting analysis and documentation.

- Some exposure to inclement weather and visits to operational units, schools, government and city buildings, hotel facilities and on-board military ships are required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, coordinating, executing and managing events in accordance with federal public affairs regulations, policies and procedures; 2) Coordinating all phases of a project to include funding, establishing timelines, execution, deviations, and attainment of established goals; 3) Gathering, tracking, and analyzing data to evaluate assigned programs, determine resource requirements, and formulate improvement processes; and 4) Establishing relationships and communicating orally and in writing with varied public audiences ( trade associations, industrial/civic/government representatives, educators, veteran's groups, etc.) to provide professional representation for an organization.
