You will serve as a WORK INTEGRATION SPECIALIST in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (Code 300) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will provide advanced planning support for both Alteration Installation Team's and Ships Force work by gathering planning information on potential ship work assignments.
You will attend project meetings, such as plan of the day to provide progress, schedule performance for assigned Milestone Key Events.
You will assist in providing data in support of work integration into the overall schedule.
You will brief key personnel involved on the scope of work to be accomplished, methods to be employed, likely problems to be encountered, and contingency plans available.
You will revise plans and schedules, as required, and coordinate day to day work operations of Alteration Installation Team leaders of a variety of agencies.
Requirements

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and scheduling work and materials for ship overhaul or repair projects; and analyzing production operations to identify and rectify project conflicts or shortages to ensure the timely, efficient, and economic completion of project milestones.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree;
OR
Successful completion of an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled
