You will serve as an INDUSTRIAL MANAGEMENT MANAGER in the CLASS TEAM DIVISION, SURFACE SHIP OPERATIONS, C103 of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will set equitable performance standards for review and approval and evaluate performance of subordinates.
You will initiate timely advance procurement of material and recommends material substitutions.
You will utilize a thorough working knowledge of the Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and other acquisition regulations.
You will prepare and present briefings related to department, program, and command performance.
You will analyze problems, apply sound judgment, and exercise initiative and originality to obtain program or project goals and objectives.
You will develop and implement detailed business plans, planning/production schedules, advance production material identification and procurement.
You will develop a long-range plan to accomplish assignments that include current and projected workload schedules and forecast of probable new assignments.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- Work includes regular and reoccurring exposure to discomforts such as strong odors or fumes, high noise levels, high temperatures, and adverse weather conditions.
- Temporary actions taken under this announcement may be terminated at any time before the established not-to-exceed date.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing a ship maintenance and modernization program (e.g., planning production schedules, material procurement, evaluating performance) to ensure the readiness of supply systems critical to sustaining operational readiness.
