You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HR SPECIALIST within IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
Duties
You will ensure compliance with policies and regulatory guidance established by the Department of Navy.
You will resolve complex issues in such areas of employment eligibility, qualification determinations, and pay setting.
You will plan and assign work to subordinates.
You will perform staffing and classification duties to support the organization.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following;
Developing and implementing policies and programs for staffing and classification.
Understanding statutes, rules, laws, and regulations associated with the staffing and classification functions.
Advising managers/supervisors concerning the classification implications of reorganizations and experience/knowledge providing advice for improving organizational and position structures, supervisory ratios, span of control.
Providing technical oversight and direction on open actions worked by the staffing and classification team.
Analyzing complex situations and synthesizing information for managers with viable options.
Generating creative ideas and innovative ways to solve problems and complex HR issues.
