Duties
Provides technical support to Supply Chain operations with an emphasis on Regional Distribution Center (RDC) Inventory Control. Assists in the maintenance and monitoring of operating/reporting systems in support of RDC inventory movement. Reviews new systems and reports for validity and impact to process by tracking varied information, both quantitative and qualitative. Analyzes and makes recommendations to Logistics Branch (MRL) and Merchandising Branch (MRM) regarding stock levels, item status, and product disposition.Researches and resolves trouble tickets relating to RDC, to include but not limited to, Transfer Discrepancies, Delivered to Incorrect Site, and Load Quality. Enter compliance audit related to trouble tickets, label compliance, and inventory accuracy. Reviews and approves inventory adjustment requests from RDC. Monitors and maintains general e-mail inboxes and responds to routine requests.

Qualifications
BACHELOR¿S DEGREE from an accredited college or university in merchandise management, logistics management or a related field appropriate to work of the position, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR THREE YEARS of practical experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to perform technical work in support of logistics inventory analysis to evaluate and improve the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the organization.Knowledge of overall retail business operations, supply organization, mission, and operating functions and systems related to retail product shipping, receiving, inventory, warehousing, transportation, and supply. Skill to compile and analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and develop statistical or narrative reports, charts and graphs. Ability to analyze retail components, including weeks of supply (WOS), inventory turn and selling rate and their implications to sales and gross margin performance. Skill in oral and written communication to prepare and present recommendations and solutions regarding issues based on analysis and evaluation of proposals. Demonstrated ability to understand the needs of the users and provide excellent customer service in the resolution of problems and issues. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MR/MF policy.
