Duties

Develops and maintains progress and status statistics for reporting and reconciliation with Center higher headquarters personnel. Researches regulations and policies and ensures organizational adherence to such policies. Plan, analyze, and review major programs associated with mission and customer funded programs. Participates in the formulation of project plans to establish realistic time schedules, resource requirements, milestones and accomplishments. Monitors and performs detailed analyses of program progress and utilization of funding and manpower resources. Advises directorate officials on new and emerging management concepts and their relationship to the directorate’s manpower, human and financial resources.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) 25%
• Requires a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 level in the Federal service which includes 1) Compiling and analyzing data to identify potential problems and trends; 2) Evaluating and monitoring ongoing programs and projects to determine the effectiveness of program operations; 3) Reviewing and analyzing reimbursable manpower and fund expenditure to identify deficiencies.
