About the Position: Incumbent will serve as a Workforce Development Specialist working for United States Army Garrison Fort Walker (USAG Fort Walker), responsible for workforce development, civilian personnel processing, and performance management.
Duties
Coordinates the development and maintenance of the Installation GIS.
Implements corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policies into the master planning process.
Controls and manages project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and initial operations.
Establishes a vision and future direction for managing and acquiring real property efficiently.
Assists real property personnel in facility utilization and space management.
Serves as the technical advisor and liaison on all matters pertaining to master planning.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- TDY may be required up to 15% of the time.
- Incumbent is required to file a Statement of Employee and Financial Interest (DD Form
1555) and SF-450 Confidential Financial Disclosure.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Developing documents and supporting information for project submissions for all projects in the Real Property Master Plan; (2) Providing technical input on Real Property in master planning, design, construction, or maintenance of projects; (3) Maintaining master planning data within an automated master planning program; and (4) investigating and/or resolving unique problems during planning such as: obscure design criteria, conflicts between engineering, planning systems, environmental circumstances or management requirements associated with a specific plan, type of facility, or installation location. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
