About the Position: Incumbent will serve as an Operations Specialist responsible for subsequent mgmt of planning, preparing, and execution of installation operational functions, activities, reporting criteria, orders production, manage taskers, ceremonies, & special events. Reports progress of operational matters to the Chief Plans & Operations & implements subsequent guidance to mitigate & address technical problems. Fort Walker falls under the Richmond VA general schedule (GS) pay scale.

Duties

Coordinates and synchronizes day to day United States Army Garrison-Fort Walker operations for events and services. Develops and maintains various contingency plans and ensures support annexes for plans and operations orders are developed to compliment and support operational plans of higher headquarters. Incumbent determines collection methods and evaluating data pertinent to development of plans. Manages all operational reporting requirements and taskers suspense status for the Garrison. Prepares Installation Defense Readiness Reports and ensure accurate and timely submission in accordance with published directives and standards. Maintains and operates all garrison operations center automation and mass notification systems.
