You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of PERS WASHINGTON.
Duties
You will customize a customer's financial management processes and procedures to meet their program needs.
You will mentor others on financial management regulations and government accounting principles
You will plan work schedules, deadlines, and standards for acceptable levels of financial, accounting, or budgeting work.

- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Prepares budget exhibits in support of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Congressional program and budget processes; 2) Provides complete justification and responses to various inquiries for assigned programs in a precise and timely manner; 3) Performs a variety of fiscal, accounting or financial management duties and responsibilities to include the review of accounting reports to ensure funds are allocated, recorded and expended properly in the correct fiscal year; 4) Prepares briefs for senior managers on program execution and provides recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas; 5) Plan work, set priorities and schedules work to ensure effective accomplishment of priority work
