Qualifications

NOTE:  You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as overseeing and coordinating training development programs; leading or advising on the development of strategic partnerships to advance program initiatives; and coaching, mentoring, or leading others. Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: Skill in applying principles, policies, and practices of environmental justice. Skill in developing training programs. Skill in written communication. Skill in evaluating and setting program priorities. Skill in oral communication. Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Skill in leading a team. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
