This position is located in the Bureau of Global Public Affairs, Digital Content Group, Office of Creative (GPA/DC/CR). The Bureau serves the American people by effectively communicating American foreign policy around the world and informing domestic audiences about U.S. foreign policy priorities and the value of diplomacy, and by engaging foreign publics to enhance their understanding of and support for the United States, its values and policies.
Duties
Prepares clear, concise, and accurate written documents.
Responsible for creating unique written material on a variety of issues.
Examines the content of documents for clarity and length and organizes the material structurally.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with producing materials and/or publications suitable for web, social media, video and/or audio platforms for domestic and international publications.
Experience writing, editing, and producing written products that convey U.S. values and foreign policy to domestic and international audiences.
Experience performing photo research in the Associated Press database and/or other sources as appropriate for assigned projects.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
