Duties

The Marine and Family (MF) Program Division is a comprehensive set of services that support and enhance the operational readiness, war fighting capabilities, and life quality of Marines and their families.  We support their holistic fitness and readiness with programming that includes employment, education, and transition assistance; fitness and recreation; deployment and family support; childcare and youth activities; and prevention and recovery services.

Qualifications

Bachelor¿ degree in Marketing, Business or a related field appropriate to the work of position ANDthree years of experience directly related to managing website content, marketing strategy  and social media content; OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Experience in the use of a variety of informational marketing and media methods such as graphic arts, design, illustration, photography, videography, computers and broadcast is highly preferred.  Demonstrated knowledge of and skill to analyze and evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of social media practices and functional program operations to meet goals and objectives. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.  Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans. Solid understanding of the effects of social media at the business, technical and implementation level.  Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.  Must possess solid organizational and detail-orientated expertise and the ability to handle numerous projects at one time. Must be skilled in using a variety of communication and informational media methods and techniques to stimulate interest of a variety of publics, which have different levels of understanding. Must be able to identify the characteristics of target audiences and determine the most effective, sources, methods, and techniques to use in reaching patrons.  Ability to analyze the results of information gathering techniques, surveys, inquiries, etc. to improve upon existing systems.  Must be familiar with dominant social networking outlets.  Knowledge of Google Analytics desired. Familiarity using Sprinklr a plus.Telework: Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MF policy.
