You will serve as an Administrative Support Assistant (Office Automation) in the G-1 Operations Division of the Manpower Directorate MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
Duties
You will greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
You will answer telephone and email inquiries.
You will review and perform a variety of military personnel actions to include, but not limited to, awards, correspondence, and directives.
You will interpret and forward changes that need to be made for personnel actions.
You will produce documents, correspondence, reports, graphs, calendars, statistics, mailing labels, and tables using varied functions of word processing, spreadsheets, database and graphics software.
You will create, copy, edit, calculate, revise, retrieve, store and print a wide range of documents.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Referring calls/emails to appropriate personnel; 2) Greeting visitors and referring them to appropriate organization; 3) Maintaining office files and personnel records; and 4) Using office automation systems such as Microsoft Office tools to prepare correspondences, reports, and maintain internal databases.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
