About the Position: Serve as Administrative Support Assistant for the Director of the Pacific Ocean Division's Programs Directorate.
Duties
Uses the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS) for preparation of travel orders, temporary duty claims, settlements, training, and purchase requests.
Serve as the Directorate's official timekeeper responsible for all Directorate staff, in accordance with established Pacific Ocean division (POD) policy and maintain hardcopy documentation, by pay period, in audit-ready condition.
Serve as the Directorate's cardholder for the Government Purchase Card (GPC); execute all required functions and maintain accurate transaction files, electronic and hardcopy, in accordance with regulations.
Responsible for office management serving as the element of continuity to ensure the standard operating procedures (SOPs) support the mission objectives established by the Director, PD.
Serves as the directorate's Records Manager, responsible for establishing, managing, and updating the directorate's hardcopy and electronic files in accordance with established records management policy in ARIMS.
Assist Billing Official and Alternate Billing Official in monthly reviews of transactions, and lead preparation of the annual surveillance report on the account.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing a wide range of administrative support services to senor lradershi positios and using the Corps of Engineers Financial Management Systems (CEFMS) for preperation of travel orders, temporary duty claims, settlements, training, and purchanse requests. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
