This position is located in the Domestic Violence Division of the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Branch Supervisor will provide supervision and management of branch operations ensuring compliance with applicable court, branch and division policies, court rules, business processes and standard operating procedures.

- A probationary period of one (1) year must be successfully completed.
- Background and security investigation are required.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma plus eight (8) years of administrative or clerical experience in a court or family law agency, including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Graduation from the Courts’ Management Training Program may substitute for one (1) year of supervisory experience (You must provide documentation of your management training (i.e. copy of certificate) with your application.
Education Substitution:
Associate's degree plus six (6) years of administrative or clerical experience in a court or family law agency, including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Bachelor's degree plus four (4) years of administrative or clerical experience in a court or family law agency, including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Master's degree plus three (3) years of administrative or clerical experience in a court or family law agency, including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts is required. If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted.
