This Branch Supervisor is located in the Civil Division, within one of its four operating branches, at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, providing management and supervision of branch operations in compliance with applicable Court rules; Court and division policies and processes; and division business procedures.
Duties

- A background and/or security investigation is required.
- A probationary period of one (1) year must be successfully completed.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma with at least eight (8) years of experience in an office, public service agency, court, or legal environment, plus one (1) year of supervisory experience, or successful completion of the DC Courts’ Management Training Program. Graduation from the Courts’ Management Training Program may substitute for one (1) year of supervisory experience. You must provide documentation of your management training (i.e. copy of certificate) with your application.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Preferred applicants will have a bachelor’s degree or higher in legal studies, business, public, or human resources administration or a closely related field with four (4) or more years of experience in a general office, public service setting, or legal environment of which at least two (2) or more years of supervisory experience. Documentation of education must be submitted with your application or your application will not be considered.
