This position is located in the Domestic Violence Division of the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Branch Supervisor will provide supervision and management of branch operations ensuring compliance with applicable court, branch and division policies, court rules, business processes and standard operating procedures.

  • All eligible DC Courts Employees (refer to Policies 0210 and 0200).

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma plus eight (8) years of administrative or clerical experience in a court or family law agency, including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Graduation from the Courts’ Management Training Program may substitute for one (1) year of supervisory experience (You must provide documentation of your management training (i.e. copy of certificate) with your application. Education Substitution: Associate's degree plus six (6) years of administrative or clerical experience in a court or family law agency, including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Bachelor's degree plus four (4) years of administrative or clerical experience in a court or family law agency, including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Master's degree plus three (3) years of administrative or clerical experience in a court or family law agency, including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts’ values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Respect, and Transparency.
