As a HR Specialist (Work/Life); you will provide technical advice for the OCC's nationwide work/life programs to assist OCC employees in balancing their personal and family challenges with their professional and work responsibilities through alternative human resources strategies. This position is within the Office of Human Capital / Workforce Relations and Performance Management (WRPM) group located in Washington, DC, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, Seattle, WA, and Chicago, IL.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement: To qualify for the NB-V level, you must have specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level, NB-IV or GS-11 in the federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position includes: Experience consulting management and employees on information regarding federal leave, work-life, and other human resources programs/strategies, ie., Telework Program, Remote Work Program, Alternative Work Schedules, Family Medical Leave, Leave Bank, Leave Transfer, Leave Buy-Back, Part-Time Employment, Drug-Free Workplace or other workplace flexibilities. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure any credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week, on your resume.
