You will serve as a Wargaming Assistant Director in the VICE PRESIDENT ACADEMIC AFFAIRS of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will assists the Wargaming Director in their role in leading Wargaming efforts for the University.
You will provide advice and assistance to the Wargaming Director and the Director of the Krulak Center on budgetary, contracting, programmatic, and policy issues.
You will manage the development of a virtual gaming platform that integrates multiplayer gaming with assessment of student learning outcomes (SLOs) and program outcomes (POs), accessed via and integrated into MCU’s learning management system.
You will serve as the Resource Advisor for Wargaming and the Brute Krulak Center for Innovation and Future Warfare. This includes coordinating budget submissions, phase plans, and monthly reconciliations.
You will manage administrative requirements associated with the Wargaming Directorate’s official courses that support Faculty Development and certifications in wargaming.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

GS-13
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector overseeing and managing business operations functions, coordinating training programs, strategic communications, contracting requirements, and providing advice in the development of plans, strategies, and solutions. Ensuring adequate funding and staffing to support the development and system training program.
GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in business operations functions, coordinating training programs, strategic communications, contracting requirements, and providing advice in the development of plans, strategies, and solutions. Ensuring adequate funding and staffing to support the development and system training program.
