You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the PEO ATTACK SUBMARINES DIVISION of PEO SSN.
This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.
Duties
You will keep breast of trends in training and development concepts and philosophies and changes in the Department of Defense and the Department of the Navy policies, procedures, techniques, and programs.
You will prepare and present reports based on analysis of trends, staff requirements, program status, and/or concerns, providing key staff with objectively based information for making decisions on administrative and programmatic aspects.
You will be informed of workforce of training opportunities that benefits and specifically target unique staff requirements.
You will assist managers in ensuring that employees have the opportunity to develop, maintain, and update skills and competencies.
You will ensure efficiency of program operations that support justifications, circumstances, and the decisions to recommend awards.
You will manage and provide analytical oversight to the organization's DAWIA program.
You will oversee operations for civilian employee's and military certification requests to ensure appropriate program actions are completed in accordance with latest back-to-basics road-map.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-02 (GS-11) or grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating workforce training programs to identify issues and recommend process improvements for an organization.
