You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Corporate Business and Analysis Group, DITAC, Advanced Program Division, Cyber Weapons Branch of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Duties

You will assist in leading a diverse team of information technology specialists. You will support the Division Head and other Command AP CISO on all matters, technical and otherwise, involving the security of information systems. You will assist with cyber self-inspections for programs as needed. You will perform supervisory tasks such as establish STRL performance management objectives along with other supervisory duties identified in STRL guidance and policy.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 751 level intermediate within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. In addition to demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must also demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrating experience in areas such as IT Support, Cyber Security and Traditional Security; 2) Leading a team or project; 3) Evaluating competing priorities and delegating tasks; and 4) Leading strategic planning and process improvement efforts.
