You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the DITAC DEPARTMENT, CORPORATET BUSINESS & ANALYSIS GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will be the principal advisor and point of contact for all Information Assurance/ Cyber Security (IA/ CS) matters with responsibility for planning, developing, and implementing the command IA/ CS program.
You will formulate and recommend new command policy, regulations, and supplements for implementing and maintaining an effective information security program within the command.
You will develop plans for the computer security test and evaluation (ST and E), performs the ST and E, evaluates the results of testing, recommends appropriate corrective action when deficiencies are identified and prepares required reports.
You will perform staff assignments related to project planning, monitoring, and coordination related to network security and/or cyber security.
You will monitor local registration authority (LRA) and Trusted Agent (TA) implementation for server Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) digital certificates and individuals.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 611 level Advanced within 12 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
In addition to demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following:
1) Defining and assuring technical skills associated with Command-wide cybersecurity policy, testing, risk assessment, identity and access management, and cybersecurity workforce management across multiple classified and unclassified networks with a diverse array of technical requirements; 2) Monitoring local registration authority (LRA) and Trusted Agent (TA) implementation for server Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) digital certificates and individuals; 3) Planning and defining command policy and objectives relative to all aspects of cyber security and information assurance; 4) Participating in review of plans, design and acquisition documentation, and other requirements involving new technologies and/or updated hardware, communications networks, and software.
