Duties
As a Business Services Support Specialist you will:
Provide the full range of business services in response to the specific needs of the organization.
Conduct the purchase of a wide variety of specialized supplies, equipment, and services needed to support the operations of the organization using the Integrated Contracts Expert (ICE).
Manage the security and emergency preparedness functions for the organization.
Review procurement requests for adequacy of justification, availability of funds, and compliance with policies and procedures.
Develop and apply methods and procedures designed to provide business services to the serviced organization.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-11 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level, which must include the following experience: performing in the area procurement/acquisition, property and facilities business services capability to support day-to-day operations.
OR
I have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR
Have a combination of education and specialized experience that together meets 100% of the qualification requirement for this position.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience. An official transcript will be required if you are selected.
