About the Position: This is an Administrative Officer, GS-0341-09 posiiton with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division (NWD), Omaha District, Planning, Programs, & Project Management Division
Duties
Assists the Division Administrative Officer in the development and maintenance of staffing plans and goals, and with input to measurement charts, resource management spreadsheets, data collection, and other management tools.
Drafts or assists administrative staff members in the development of policies and procedures related to administrative procedures.
Composes and prepares a variety of correspondence, reports, records, briefing materials, and statistical and narrative material required to support the organizational mission.
Uses database or spreadsheet applications to enter, revise, sort and retrieve data for reports; and uses graphic software to provide charts and graphs.
Ensures all required documentation and information is included before routing actions.
Prepares memoranda, prints certificates, arranges for framing, and presentation of awards.

Experience monitoring a budget for an office. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
