You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the OFFICE OF THE COMPTROLLER of COMSUBFOR.
Duties
You will ensure the financial statements and reports prepared by the Authorized Accounting Activity (AAA) accurately depicts the status of financial resources.
You will oversee the preparation and submission of accounting reports required of a Type Commander (TYCOM) by higher authority and the performance of accounting through SABRS/ERP.
You will ensure all fleet obligations are recorded in the official accounting system.
You will produce and distribute the Summary Filled Order Expenditure Differences Listing (SFOEDLS) or Differences listing to subordinate commands, working and resolving all commence issues associated with the use of the Government Purchase Card.
You will maintain official ledgers and subsidiary records.
You will review and implement proposed/new legislation, policies, and procedures issues by FMB, OSD, DON, and USFFC.
You will conduct a continuous review of the accounting reports and analyze fiscal reports and accounting reports.
You will track and report funding obligations for current fiscal year and five years after expiration of the appropriation.
You will certify all payments in Wide Area Workflow and supervise the Defense Travel voucher certifications for payment.
You will directly supervise a staff of four personnel.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
GS-13:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience in working with and expert knowledge of financial statements and reports prepared by the Authorized Accounting Activity (AAA) to ensure the reports accurately depict the status of financial resources and portrays the results of operations in a manner that is meaningful to higher authority.
Experience using and expert knowledge of CFMS, SABRS and ERP.
Experience with and expert knowledge of Summary Filled Order Expenditure Differences Listing (SFOEDLs).
Experience in and expert knowledge of tracking and reporting funding obligations for current fiscal year and five years after expiration of the appropriation.
Experience in and knowledge of Obligation Validation Reviews and responding to data calls.
Experience in and knowledge of monitoring and tracking all Transaction Ledgers (TLs). TLs record operating forces requisitions and ensure proper execution of funds.
Experience in and knowledge of certifying payments in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). To ensures all payments are processed properly and paid correctly.
