Duties

Develops, implements, facilitates, synchronizes and executes long-range and crisis action plans to include operational plans, orders, policies and associated programs in coordination with a variety of stakeholder organizations. Exercise development support; Provide joint logistics and communications expertise in the planning, design, development and execution of TF-HD's exercise requirements. Attend key exercise planning conferences in support of exercise material development. Develop and maintain a long term training and certification matrix synchronizing training and exercise operations with stakeholder organizations. Manage logistics and communications support requirements during exercises and operational response activities. Assemble and maintain requisite staff products in support of After Action Review development. Direct or otherwise participate in high level planning and informational meetings/forums providing EXSUM's to inform the command.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • This position is designated as Drug Testing Required. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing IAW DA guidelines. Incumbent must complete DA 5019.
  • Position is designated as "Emergency-Essential" in accordance with AR 690-11. Emergency-Essential designation takes precedence over any transportation agreement or military recall status.
  • Position is subject to completion of a pre-employment physical examination and annual examination thereafter to ensure required physical health/ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
  • Incumbent must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) or clothing such as boots, goggles, gloves, chemical mask and other safety equipment as required.
  • Position may require overtime and shift work on short notice to include nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Position may require incumbent to be on-call and maintain a working telephone.
