You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE PROGRAM OFFICE (PMS 340) of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS.
Duties
You will develop yearly accomplishment plans and budgets; definition of technical work to be performed by various program participants; issuance of tasks and work requests to Navy labs or field activities.
You will approve all design or engineering changes, waivers, deviations, and other technical submissions generated by participants.
You will provide guidance and conduct or direct special studies/analyses to resolve problems encountered or to explore alternative, new approaches which may be proposed by others or self-initiated.
You will develop, coordinate, and implement strategies and approaches to broad technical and program issues which impact across-the-board on major production and in-service projects.
You will evaluate the ramifications of changes on system performance, cost, risk, and schedules; approve those program adjustments necessary to accommodate the changes to minimal adverse program impacts.
You will provide programmatic and technical advice and guidance on substantive technical aspects of the overall program.
You will arbitrate and determine courses of action in varied programmatic and technical discussions between contractors to resolve incompatibilities

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-03 (or GS-13 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing or evaluating programmatic, financial, technical, or contractual requirements to provide life cycle support or sustainment for ship systems and equipment.
