This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for shortage category/Critical need to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, Joint Staff, NGB-J1, Manpower and Personnel Director, Arlgington, VA.
Duties
Serve as an integrator for primary prevention efforts by collecting, analyzing, monitoring, and recommending improvement on related data in order to draw conclusions.
Lead evaluations, management audits, and working groups within the command.
Provide technical support and subject matter expertise to sexual violence prevention specialists across the Army.
Review and provide analysis of specific issues that could impact HQDA responsibilities, ensuring consistency and coordination amongst the applicable directorates.

Individuals Must have IOR basic requirements
Degree: Bachelor's degree or higher in behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
OR
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major field
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
Addition to meeting the Basic Requirements above you must also meet the specialized experience below.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes writing sexual assault policy guidance and reporting procedures for use by prevention professionals throughout the agency; providing technical support and subject matter expertise to sexual violence prevention specialists across the agency; informing leadership of key policy and planning issues that impact the effectiveness and/or efficiency of agency's processes
in sexual assault prevention; establishing and delivering training courses to ensure a broader understanding of primary prevention methods, techniques, and activities.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-12 or equivalent).
Education
