Duties
You will serve as project lead in support of overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects.
You will plan, coordinate and oversee various facility projects, MILCONs, repairs, improvements, or renovations of buildings, grounds, utilities, and other facilities.
You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with other federal and private entities involved in facility issues, such as environmental protection, historic preservation, land use, property management, and tenant requirements.
You will provide support and analysis to subordinate organizations and facilities enterprise wide, such as regional offices, field stations, and visitor centers, on facility issues and solutions.

- This is a Drug Testing Designated Position (TDP). A pre-employment drug test is required, and the position is subject to random drug testing.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- The incumbent may be required to perform occasional travel (50% or less) which may involve the use of commercial and/or government aircraft.
- This position has been designated as a Cyber Workforce position in the DOD Cyber Workforce Framework role of 802 - IT PROJECT MANAGER proficiency level INTERMEDIATE.
Qualifications
Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled.
(1) Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of facility operations and maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
(2) Knowledge of the laws, regulations, standards, and policies governing facility management, such as the National Environmental Policy Act, the National Historic Preservation Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
(3) Skill in using various software applications, such as Microsoft Office, ProjNet, and Maximo, to perform facility-related tasks, such as data analysis, design, and documentation.

Education
