This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the External Affairs Division WCF. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will plan, organize, analyze, implement, and evaluate broad public information programs and coordinates all public affairs activities, including strategic marketing for the public sales program and contract management for the facility's Tour and Visitor Center.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Conduct qualitative analysis of software, hardware, and point of sale data to provide recommendations to ensure the integrity of the point-of-sale system, customer records, financial reporting, and inventory and accountability processes.
Identify and analyze problems with and/or deficiencies in current Tour and Visitor Center and Public Sales Program operations with contract management fiduciary responsibilities ranging between $2-10 million annually.
Plan actions for and participates in implementation of new or revised management initiatives, programs, operations, and procedures.
Coordinate decisions and create implementation plans to change organizational structures, operational concepts, and process operations within the Tour and Visitor Center and Public Sales Program.
Provide support to management in a wide variety of administrative and operational matters.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience for the GS-12 is one year (52 weeks) of experience at the GS-11 level or equivalent, that is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and which has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience is defined as:
-Using analytical and evaluative techniques to identify trends to improve program effectiveness and efficiency; AND
-Reviewing all phases of acquisition related actions for the procurement of supplies and services in support of program goals.; AND
-Planning actions or participating in the implementation of management initiatives, programs, operations, and procedures.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11level for 52 weeks.
