About the Position: Senior Financial Management Analyst responsible for providing direction to financial staff relative to appropriated fund accounting and Certified Financial Officer (CFO) Act compliancy. This position is located at Fort Sam Houston, TX.
Relocation expenses may be reimbursed.
Duties
Administer U.S. Army accounting policy for financial management and accounting operations.
Evaluate U.S. Army accounting policy for financial management and accounting operations.
Oversee the command programs for improving financial statements, recording, and reporting.
Assist with implementing the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) accounting system and associated financial feeder systems.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing financial management plans; auditing financial statements; evaluating policies for compliance with financial standards; and operating financial management systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
