You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the EXPEDITIONARY MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.
Duties
You will serve as the technical expert on all aspects of the supply system, inventory and warehouse management concepts, financial management, and procurement processes.
You will develop and execute the annual budget as well as Program Objective Memorandum (POM) formulations and provide recommendations for budget impacts, adjustments, and inputs.
You will manage and serve as the final authorizer for the Government Purchase Card (GPC) program.
You will plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials, services and supplies.
You will develop and monitor the supply chain strategy, run the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, and resolve all supply program management problems.
You will serve as technical expert for procurement practices, accountability, receipt, and issue of all ship repair parts, material, tool, services and equipment.
You will establish, monitor, and manage the performance and measurement of logistics functions for all aspects of the supply chain.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, prepare schedules for completion; assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty and requirements of assignments, and capabilities of employees.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You must be willing and able to lift/carry items weighing up to 45 pounds.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing fact-finding and investigative techniques to identify problematic methods or processes and recommend corrective actions for the improved effectiveness and efficiency of a supply program.
