Duties

Serve as the Deputy Director for the Operational Protection Directorate, U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC). Oversee, coordinate, and facilitate all Antiterrorism/Force Protection, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Chemical Biological Nuclear and Explosive, Operational Security, Personnel Recovery, Law Enforcement, and Counter IED lines of effort. Ensure compliance with HQDA Army Protection Program and associated statues, policies, regulations, and requirements. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of USARPAC Operational Protection directorate to include but not limited to the execution of the Directorates mission, responsibilities, actions, projects, and taskers. Responsible for monitoring and assessing the risk and threats of forces in the area of operations and implementing control measures to maintain the protection of the force.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • This position is designated as Drug Testing Required. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing in accordance with DA guidelines. Incumbent must complete DA 5019.
