About the Position: This position is with the United States Army Reserve Command, Army Reserve G-6, Resource Integration Branch, located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.

Duties

Serve as Budget Analyst in the Resource Acquisition Management (RAM) Branch with responsibility for worldwide programs of the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC), Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-6. Provide financial management advice to the G-6 staff branches for development of operational budget. Establish financial management procedures for continual review and surveillance of funds. Receive, control, and allocate funding based on analysis of budget estimates, historical expenditures, future projection and approved funding levels. Ensure accuracy of financial data and successful year end closeout of accounts. Formulate funding estimates and provide justification as required. Present and defend budget requirements to visiting general, administrative, special, and technical staff.

  • Required to obtain and maintain a Financial Management Level 2 Certification.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
