About the Position: This position serves as a Budget Analyst for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command Comptroller.

Duties

Provide guidance on the interpretation of all aspects of congressional legislation, regulatory directives and procedural requirements for the formulation, justification, and review of programs. Ensure uniformity of the application of regulatory/legislative guidance used in development of the budget input. Serve as the budget analyst for formulation of command budget submission to higher headquarters.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
  • This is a Financial Management Certification Level 2 Certified position.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.
