This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.
Duties
You will plan work accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, the difficulty of work to be performed, and the capabilities of employees.
You will be responsible for finding ways to eliminate significant bottlenecks and barriers to production.
You will develop performance standards for subordinates.
You will evaluate work performance of subordinates.
You will delegate or exercise leave authority.
You will interview candidates for positions in the unit. You will recommend appointment, promotion or reassignment to such positions.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing enterprise and program level logistics/supply chain management services, supporting life cycle sustainment of ground weapon systems, and monitor sustainment best practices during acquisition processes; and plans, assigns workload, and oversees planning direction and execution and overall goals and objectives of employees.
