Duties
You will serve as a Inventory Management Specialist (Demand Planner) in the MMD and delivers logistics, sustainment, and material readiness from the installation to the forward tactical edge to ensure globally dominant land forces capabilities.
You will execute the demand-planning program for a complex portfolio of weapons systems and/or component piece parts.
You will assist in evaluation and synthesizing analysis provided to resolve difficult demand planning issues involving processes, work methods, supply data management, and day-to-day operational procedures for assigned secondary items.
You will assist in providing demand planning, forecasting program, and process interpretations and recommendations to management officials and other supply specialists at the same and lower levels of the organization.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in evaluation and synthesizing analysis provided to resolve difficult demand planning issues involving processes, work methods, supply data management.

Education

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
