Duties
Coordinates CSR User’s Conferences annually to provide training to all customers.
Receives and analyzes operational reports for errors and determines areas where corrective action is needed.
Performs quality control examinations of operations, policies, procedures and internal controls to prevent and detect deficiencies in the operation of functional systems.
Conducts monthly trend analysis of data trends to identify root causes of backlogs and takes appropriate corrective action.
Leads and/or conducts a variety of management studies related to a broad spectrum of civilian pay issues. Performs other duties as assigned.
Serves as team lead and participates in the work of the team; coaches and facilitates the selection and application of problem-solving techniques or work methods.
Ensures that employees are fully trained in all facets of the civilian payroll process (timekeeping, voucher preparation, customer service representation, data input, data retrieval, etc.).
Participates in quality assurance reviews and Vulnerability Assessments, which include consistent review of internal procedures and methods of handling workflow.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: performing financial management data analysis, creating recommendations for financial system development, and providing customer support of an automated payroll system; and planning work tasks in coordination with overall civilian pay mission project timelines and deliverables.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
