You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) of NAV SCHOOL EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL.
Duties
You will perform a risk analyses to verify correct levels of information security are implemented within the organization.
You will evaluate security protection programs to verify accurate implementation.
You will maintain system functionality configuration by implementing network security protocols.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensure the development, review, endorsement and maintenance of Cybersecurity certificate an accreditation artifacts for the local information technology architectures to protect assigned system resources; 2) Assess security risk implications and provide technical solution for local information; 3) Ensure all computer incidents are tracked, managed, investigated, resolved and reported to comply with DoD guidance; 4) Evaluate trends and patterns in contractor customer support to ensure performance is in compliance with the contract; 5) Manage the local Communications Security (COMSEC) program IAW applicable guidance to ensure proper control of COMSEC material

Education
Substitution of education for experience:
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics or technology management.
OR
Successfully completed 3 full years (54 hours) of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management; or graduate education that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
OR
A combination of education and experience as indicated above.
