You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST at the Metro San Diego Call Center at NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will be required to have knowledge of facility and trades; suggest decisions concerning things such as interpretation of considerable data, planning of the work, or refinement of the methods and techniques to be used.
You will make judgments to select, interpret and apply technical guidelines appropriate to each individual circumstances.
You will work without direct supervision and provide guidance to other employees with the NAVFAC Southwest call center.
You will review standard operating procedures for individual Public Works Departments.
You will be responsible for evaluating work request and determining if it should be categorized as planned or unplanned, routine, urgent or emergency work.
You will retrieve and verify work induction data from the software utilized and prepare reports in the format requested.
You will prepare reports using standard Microsoft programs including, but not limited to: excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Microsoft scheduling in
addition to MAXIMO.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Examples of 1) Experience with tracking and reporting work order data; reviews and validates service request data input; 2) Experience leading small teams in accomplishing task-oriented projects solving problems and identifying and addressing issues and tracking timelines for date sensitive projects; 3) Experience communicating with military and civilian reviewers and department heads in writing and on the phone to obtain needed information and documents for investigation analysis; 4) Experience of wide range work and service provided by various trades of facility and trade vernaculars to understand information and feedback provided by both employees and customers; 5) Experience in leading a call center and be able to take calls from customers, FMS and make judgement calls on request; 6) Experience that requires journeyman knowledge of NAVFAC products, services, and PWD operations;

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree
OR

OR
Combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
