This position serves as a Program Manager at the Y-12 Field Office (YFO) representing YFO management on assigned Safety Management Program(s) (SMP) for matters involving Industrial Hygiene (IH), Worker Safety and Health Program (WSHP) (i.e., Industrial Safety and Construction Safety), Chronic Beryllium Disease Prevention Program (CBDPP), and Integrated Safety Management Program (ISMS).

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least
one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band or GS grade level in the federal service, i.e., NQ/NN-2 or GS-12. This experience may have been gained in either the public or private sectors.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Experience serving on a team or supporting technical evaluations of contractor operational and implementation plans including in an industrial, nuclear, or non-nuclear facility.
Knowledge of employee training and development concepts, policies, practices, regulations, and procedures to develop and administer programs that meet the organization's needs and facilitate a well-trained and developed workforce.
Advanced oral and written communication skills to prepare reports, make presentations, discuss training and development needs with staff and external vendors and conduct training and self-assessment programs.
Examples of qualifying experience include:
Serving on a team that evaluates operating systems, processes, formality of operations, material flows, waste streams, instruments/alarms, control room practices, maintenance and construction, quality assurance, safety, health, and environmental activities, design, construction, maintenance, or operational activities.
The applicant's experience must include:
Serving on a team supporting Environment, Safety, Health, or Quality functions
Performing technical evaluations at industrial, nuclear, or non-nuclear
