This position is in the Office of Land and Emergency Management (OLEM), Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation (OSRTI), Technology Innovation and Field Services Division. About OLEM: Office of Land and Emergency Management.

Qualifications
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as strategic and budgetary planning, evaluating the effectiveness and/or efficiency of programs or processes, and providing recommendations to management for program improvement.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Skill in providing advice, counsel, and instruction to staff.
Skill in program development and planning to accomplish organization priorities.
Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods, available data systems to support evaluations, and statistical methods.
Knowledge of federal budgetary and financial management principles.
Skill in written communication.
Skill in identifying and implementing strategic management practices to enhance agency effectiveness through program analysis, and the development and implementation of other management practices and strategies.
Ability to communicate analysis and results to a broad audience.
Skill in oral communication.
Skill in providing counsel to and interacting with senior management officials within and outside of the Agency.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
