About the Position:
The position is located at Bldg. 36039, in the Cost Accounting Branch at Fort Cavazos, Texas. The building is well lit and a comfortable working area. Hours of operation will be determined once on board. The positions main focus is the the Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi) Timecards that need to be completed with a 100% completion by the end of each pay period.
Duties
Working within the Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi) to ensure that the Timecards are completed on time and 100% accuracy.
Provide assistance regarding the management of the Department of Defense's Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS) an the Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi).
Ensure man-hours are accurately collected and/or recorded to eliminate errors.
Research errors, inconsistencies or irregularities,and independently resolves problems where possible.
Provide technical guidance to work center personnel responsible for maintaining and/or reporting information to ensure understanding of the purpose and methodologies of accurate data collection, compilation, and presentation for analysis.
Performs a variety of clerical tasks in support of the organization.
Run reports (i.e. Department of Defense (DoD) Employees Missing Payroll Data, Army Payroll Validation, Distribute Labor Cost Report, and the DoD Batch Timecard Status Report) to ensure all errors are resolved or validated.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing policies or procedures, working with the Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi), and utilizing computer software packages (i.e. Microsoft Office) to prepare reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
