You will serve as a MARINE MACHINERY MECHANIC SUPERVISOR in the COMBAT SYSTEMS PRODUCT FAMILY DIVISION of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

Duties

You will be required to interpret and apply the requirements contained in the technical manuals, shop directives, multi view blueprints, and other documents in determining critical dimensions and key reference points. You will be required to install, troubleshoot, modify, and repair various mechanical systems and components to include, Close-in Weapons System Gun and Ammo Handling System, 25MM Cannons, Torpedo Launchers and countermeasure launcher systems. You will perform duties as a subject matter expert of organized intermediate maintenance teams with the responsibility to perform various repairs, replacement and functional checks upon completion. You will assist in planning the workload among employees and U.S. Navy Sailors and you must have knowledge and ability to resolve complex problems in a stressful environment with quality results to meet required operational commitments. You will make determinations as to priorities, deadlines, task sequencing depending on factors such as available manpower skills, equipment, environmental conditions, etc.
