You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Lifting and Handling Department, Code 200, of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

Duties

You will investigative and analytical techniques to gather process performance data needed to evaluate various departmental programs. You will plan, schedule, and conduct studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations, and program effectiveness. You will assess and analyze data; identify trends; identify and investigate instances of non-compliance with established programs and make recommendations for improvement. You will be responsible for the Lifting and Handling Accident prevention program and training department functions. You will establish and maintain effective relationships with and gain confidence and cooperation of supervisors and managers to accept proposals on complex program issues.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating technical data and information to assess program operations and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of programs. For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: gathering and analyzing technical data and information to identify trends and ensure compliance of program operations. Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree
OR
