You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Shore Manpower Requirements Determiniation (SMRD) Department of NAVMAC.
Duties
You will serve as an advisor and analyst to leadership in all areas of Navy Shore Manpower Requirements Department (SMRD).
You will participate in a wide variety of regular and ad hoc assignments pertaining to the planning, validation, and verification of Navy-wide manpower programs, policies, and operations.
You will provide analytical and management consulting services within the command and in support of manpower managers at Echelon I and Echelon II organizations.
You will plan production milestones across fiscal year, track completion of studies, and report current status of SMRD program compliance across all Navy shore activities.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Examining study methodologies for completeness in the development of manpower documents; 2) Recommending operational changes to studies to improve manpower management; 3) Conducting systematic assessments of work and workload for manpower requirements determination; and 4) Collecting manpower and workload data to support manpower management studies.
