You will serve as a NON-KINETIC OPERATIONS (NKO) PLANNER of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will identify capability gaps, prioritizes requirements, shape and create solutions, advocate for resources, execute funding, and provide key analyses to enable the US Indo-Pacific Command to implement the Nation Defense Strategy.
You will provide overarching expertise in the planning of operations to orchestrate and achieve optimal joint effects against selected targets.
You will maximizes joint unity of effort through developing, publishing and updating NKO (Non-kinetic operations) support to integrate joint fires plans in alignment with the Commander’s intent and priority of effect.
You will negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations for command positions on extremely sensitive, highly classified and vitally important capabilities.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a knowledge of Joint Fires planning, policies, processes and procedures along with demonstrated experience in Joint Targeting Cycle planning, execution, and assessment. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide overarching expertise in the planning of operations to orchestrate and achieve optimal joint effects against selected targets; 2) Maximize joint unity of effort through developing, publishing and updating NKO (Non-kinetic operations) support to integrate joint fires plans in alignment with the Commander's intent and priority of effect; 3) Utilizing an expert knowledge of and experience with Joint Campaign, Contingency, and Crisis Action Planning processes and procedures and ability to develop and assess new policies, processes and procedures; and 4) Negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations for command positions on extremely sensitive, highly classified and vitally important capabilities
