This INSPECTIONS SPECIALIST (COORDINATOR) position, is located in an Air National Guard (ANG) Wing Inspector General (IG) Office and is part of the CA 129 RQW.

Duties
THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION
Selectee may be non-competitively converted to permanent status if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered.
The primary purpose of the INSPECTIONS SPECIALIST (COORDINATOR), GS-1801-10, is to serve as The Inspection System of the Air Force analyst for the IG, managing the Self-Assessment program, providing feedback to FAMs on checklist quality, and compiling information from Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT), Inspector General Evaluation Management System (IGEMS), Inspector General Evaluation Management System - Classified (IGEMS-C), and all current automated systems, to ensure wing/squadron/flight commanders, the wing IG, and inspectors have all required information for directing the Commander's Inspection Program (CCIP).
Qualifications
General Experience: Possess experience with military inspection programs and a basic understanding of military missions, service structures, capabilities, and organizational functions.
INSPECTIONS SPECIALIST (COORDINATOR), GS-1801-10: Must have one year experience equivalent to at least the next lower level that plans, organizes, and executes a wide range of complex activities for the wing CCIP, which includes planning and conducting inspections, installation mission assurance exercises, and comprehensive readiness exercises that involve coordination with a wide variety of programs and departments; Experience utilizing metrics and analysis systems to assess efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory procedures; Experience interpreting complex laws, Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Air Force (DAF), gaining MAJCOM, National Guard Bureau (NGB), State, wing, and local instructions/regulations relating to deficiencies across all functional areas subject to inspection.
